The late founder of the Edhi Foundation, Abdul Sattar Edhi was “a beacon of light, a saviour who till his last breath served humanity.” Drawing from his personal experiences, namely the passing of his mother, he felt a calling to help those suffering illnesses by building chains of welfare centers and hospitals and the world’s largest volunteer ambulance network.
His foundation is a non-profit organization founded in Karachi, Pakistan that provides 24-hour emergency assistance across the nation of Pakistan and abroad.
It also provides, among many other services, shelter for the destitute, free hospitals and medical care, drug rehabilitation services, and national and international relief efforts. Its main focuses are Emergency Services, Orphans, Handicapped Persons, Shelters, Education, Healthcare, International Community Centers, Blood & Drug Bank, air ambulance services, Marine And Coastal Services.
We wholeheartedly believe in Edhi’s vision and the work his foundation does, which is why The Edhi Foundation is our primary recipient of our charitable contributions.
